Fragmin Description
Fragmin Injectable is an anticoagulant used to prevent blood clots in patients who have certain illnesses or who will be having certain types of surgery. It is used along with aspirin to prevent certain problems caused by heart attack or unstable angina (chest pain). It is also used to reduce the recurrence of blood clots in certain cancer patients. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Fragmin Side Effects
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while using Fragmin Injectable include pain, swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site; nausea, diarrhea, or confusion. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience chills, fever, or swelling. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience any unusual bleeding or bruising; pink or red urine; bloody, black, or tarry stools; leg weakness; difficulty walking; or difficulty urinating. An allergic reaction to Fragmin Injectable is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
